Our Philosophy

Welcome to Voice in the Valley Music Studio!

Music and performance have always been our passion and we are happy to share them with you. Our teaching philosophy is simple: Making music should be fun and enlightening. Embracing and refining the musical gift that lies within the heart of each individual is our top priority.

It is our goal to encourage each student to discover and nurture their musical strengths, allowing them to grow and mature into their full potential as artists. Learning to play any instrument is challenging, yet when you apply yourself it is highly enjoyable and rewarding! Let’s strive to be the best musicians we can be and have fun in the process!

Testimonials

“Jessica is a competent, understanding voice teacher. She shows extensive knowledge regarding the material at hand. She is an accomplished vocalist herself, and her kind, outgoing, and thoughtful presence and demeanor make her an ideal voice teacher, especially in a one-on-one setting. I have enjoyed being her student, and definitely recommend her to others who wish to study voice.” ~ Lynchburg College Voice Major

“Both of my girls have had the privilege of taking lessons from Jessica Jumper. They started around 9 years old and have thoroughly loved their time with her! Jessi has a unique ability to connect with kids in a way that not only builds their musicianship skills but there self image and confidence as well. At such a critical age, that was a huge bonus for me as a mom!  She cares deeply for each of her students and families and is remarkable at her craft. Voice in the Valley music studio is a much needed gift to Maple Valley.” - Kim, Maple Valley

"Our daughter has been studying at Voice In the Valley with Dr Jessi Jumper for several years now. Jessi's work with her has her adding new vocal skills to her repertoire every week. Additionally, she is able to get lots of opportunities to perform at local events.  Our daughter is 12 years old and is a very comfortable on stage performing in front of audiences, because of her lessons at Voice In The Valley."
